CountryFile Live | Blenheim Palace 1 - 4 August

This huge and exciting event combines the tradition of the UK’s best county fairs with the quality editorial and presentation of one of the BBC’s flagship programmes. Enjoy exciting live arena shows, talks, hands-on activities, animal displays, farming in action, Q&A with the Countryfile presenters, off-road experiences, shopping from more than 700 exhibitors including food, craft and luxury producers and even a great British pub garden.

Wilderness Festival | Cornbury Park 1 - 4 August
Wilderness Festival is a boutique UK music festival, laying on an easy-going programme of music, theatre, art, comedy and incredible food and drink at its lakeside woodland setting in Oxfordshire's Cornbury Park. Take a stroll around its site and you'll come across sets from international artists from across the spectrum (Robyn, Bombay Bicycle Club and Groove Armada will headline 2019's festival), as well as a variety of woodland fun, including immersive games, eccentric theatre, paddle yoga, workshops, talks, debates and even a lakeside spa

Gin n Jazz Evening | Ashmolean Museum 7 August

Join the Ashmolean for their Gin ‘n’Jazz nights in the atmospheric Rooftop Restaurant.  As well as live jazz from the talented Brennie Richards, The Oxford Artisan Distillery (TOAD) will be on hand with tips and advice on mixing the perfect Gin tipple.  Why not gather a group of friends together to enjoy the music, and relax in the evening sunshine on our beautiful terrace, whilst sampling additional delights from the bar. Family Yoga | Waddesdon Manor 9 & 16 August

Family yoga is a fun, flowing class for parents/grandparents/carers and children to play and bond naturally, positively and mindfully through yoga movement, exploring breath, meditation and relaxation.

In this interactive class the focus will be on the children, with the encouragement of the adults, guiding their children to explore yoga poses, using games, songs, partner poses, stories and props. Yoga is always better together, so come and play, and spend quality time together as a family.

The Big Feastival | The Cotswolds 23 - 25 August

The Big Feastival has become one of the UK’s most popular family festivals for food and music lovers, held each summer on the farm of legendary Blur bassist Alex James.

Combining family fun, food and music, the weekend includes an incredible spread of culinary delights, including sessions from Michelin star chefs, as well as street food caterers covering a huge variety of cuisines. Beyond the food, the music isn’t half band either. 2019’s lineup will feature sets from Lewis Capaldi, Rudimental and Jess Glynne in amongst all the extra fun, from tree climbing and arts and craft workshops to the funfair and the chance for the children to meet their TV heroes.
