ALEXANDRA BUCKLE - Tuesday 30 April 10.00 to 18.00

Alexandra will lead a workshop on lino cutting and printing. Join her to see how she transforms scenes from nature into beautiful prints!

Alexandra captures her favourite scenery as colourful, reduction linocuts. This relief printing technique involves cutting and printing several layers of colour from the same block of lino in order to build up an image. Only small editions are created of each print and each one is printed by hand. Alexandra lives and works in Bicester where she also teaches private lino cutting workshops. She is a founder member of the Buckinghamshire Craft Guild, a best seller on the Art finder online marketplace, and her linocuts have been displayed at the Royal Academy and Mall Galleries in London.

SHA - Wednesday 1 & Thursday 2 May 10.00 to 18.00

Sha will be painting using acrylic, texture paste, size and gold/silver leaf. Guests are welcome to see how she paints “the aura of the being” using unique strokes, colours and emotions.

Described as an enriching artist who creates touching pieces to ground the soul, YSMM, better known as 'Sha', specialises in mixed media and fine art using meditation to channel her gratitude, love, childlike awe of life, decades of mischievous alchemy and achieved techniques to create her authentic, weightless style.

YSMM started her artist career as an illustrator & draftsman. Then, with much fear, a lot of hard work and a little bravery, she took the leap to carve out her artist lifestyle, full of imagination, freedom and uses her love of family and nature as her muse.

CARLOS SANZ - Friday 3 May 10.00 to 17.00

Carlos will be drawing caricatures digitally – how very intriguing! Guests are welcome to see Carlos draw and ask him about his new book of political satire illustrations, including caricatures of Theresa May and Donald Trump.

A self-taught artist and illustrator living in Oxfordshire since 2005, his love for art and storytelling led him to portraiture and caricature, where he uses the exaggeration of the features to depict his impression of the subject. Deeply influenced by the current state of disarray of the world, his political satire illustrations aim to provoke thought and criticism while maintaining a humorous approach.
