Make A Difference Fund: Apply Today

This year, in addition to its annual investment in community relations projects, Bicester Village is delighted to announce the “Make a Difference” fund. The fund has a total of £22,000 to award to not-for-profit organisations for projects benefitting the Bicester community. The maximum award to any one organisation will be £4,000.

Who can apply?

To be eligible, applicants must be not-for-profit organisations (such as charities, social enterprises, community groups and voluntary organisations) that are based in, or primarily supporting activities within Bicester and surrounding areas.

What type of project can we support?

We are interested in projects that Make a Difference to our local community. We are looking to support projects that add value and create the potential for continued growth and future benefit, focusing on the following three key themes:

  • Togetherness: Activities which bring people together and help them get to know one another and bring about better social cohesion; encouraging those who may be isolated or excluded to get involved
  • Youth: Activities which improve the lives of young people by increasing their skills; raising their aspirations and breaking down barriers to their employment and wellbeing
  • Health: Activities which improve the general health and wellbeing of individuals in the local community by promoting active lifestyles and increasing self-worth

Through this fund, Bicester Village is hoping to support local organisations that might not normally qualify for grants or public funding but which can make a genuine difference in 2018.
